The Stevenson University Marching Band is a contemporary style university marching band. Membership is open to all Stevenson University students, including non-music majors. The band uses standard woodwind, brass and percussion instruments and synthesizers, guitars and colorguard. The main requirement to join the SU Marching Band is a strong desire to be part of an energized university marching band!

Stevenson University has made a strong financial commitment to its marching band in order to provide the best possible experience for the students. The SU Marching Band is extremely proud to have Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets, The Avedis Zildjian Cymbal Company and the Yamaha Music Corporation as its corporate sponsors. All of the Stevenson Marching Band’s school-owned brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments are Yamaha instruments and the percussion section will exclusively play Vic Frith sticks and mallets and Avedis Zildjian cymbals. ALL members of the SU Marching Band will receive a participation grant for participation in the fall semester.

The fall of 2011 was the inaugural season for football and marching band. We invite you to browse around this site and learn more about the Stevenson University Marching Band.
